When will I receive my order?
We offer candles and melts made with seasonal fragrances for the current season and continue to sell items from previous seasons. If your order contains items already in our inventory, we will package and ship them out as soon as possible. If you have ordered outside our current inventory, we will get your items ready as quickly as possible. New soy candles require a cure time of at least a couple of days. All orders will be shipped within 7-10 days max, with most being sent earlier. This includes weekends because all days are "business days" at Kind Scentiments.
Why are there white patches on my candles?
We use all natural soy candle waxes for all of our candles and melts. The white patches on the soy candles are called "frosting" and are a result of changes in temperature. This is very common throughout the soy candle industry, as are "wet spots", which is when the wax pulls away from the sides of the jars. While we try to avoid frosting and wet spots, it is sometimes out of our control and they can also occur during shipping. Frosting and wet spots have no impact on the performance of the candles and are strictly cosmetic issues. Some candle lovers even look forward to seeing imperfections like frosting, as it lets them know true soy wax was used.
If you are unsatisfied with your candles due to these issues, we will be happy to replace any unlit items, however we are unable to guarantee it won't happen with your replacements. Again, these issues have no effect on your candle's performance.
Is everything in your soy candles and melts all natural?
As a company, we are dedicated to using the best ingredients possible in all of our soy candles, melts and other items. We use all natural candle waxes, but also use dye and fragrance oils in our candles and melts. When it comes to fragrance oils, a large majority of their ingredients are natural essential oils. But there are some scents that are impossible to replicate in nature, so those particular notes are sometimes synthetic and may be a part of some of our oils. We make sure all our fragrance oils are completely safe and phthalate-free and we do not use any fragrance oil with a Prop 65 warning.
We also offer all fragrances in our White Series of candles at no additional charge if you would like yours without dye.
